At Bead Shop, operated by Bead, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its registered office at 8 The Green #11345, Dover, DE 19901, we take great care to ensure your order is packed securely and delivered promptly. This Shipping Policy outlines everything you need to know about how we process, ship, and deliver your orders. 1. Order Processing
All orders are subject to a processing period before they are dispatched. During processing, we verify your payment, prepare your items, and package them for shipment. Standard processing time is 1–3 business days from the time your payment is confirmed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Orders placed after 12:00 PM (noon) EST on a Friday, or at any time on Saturday or Sunday, will begin processing on the following Monday. Orders containing multiple items may require additional processing time if items need to be sourced from different locations. You will receive an email notification as soon as your order has been processed and handed to our shipping carrier.
2. Shipping Carriers
We ship using a selection of trusted domestic and international carriers, including USPS, UPS, and FedEx. The carrier assigned to your order is determined automatically based on your location, package weight and dimensions, and the selected shipping method. All carriers we use provide tracking services so you can monitor your delivery in real time.
3. Domestic Shipping (United States)
We offer the following shipping options for all orders delivered within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other U.S. territories — see below):
- Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery in 5–7 business days after dispatch. This is our most economical option and is available on all orders.
- Expedited Shipping: Estimated delivery in 2–3 business days after dispatch. Suitable when you need your order sooner.
- Overnight / Next-Day Shipping: Estimated delivery in 1 business day after dispatch (for orders placed and confirmed before 12:00 PM EST). Subject to carrier availability in your area.
Shipping costs for each method are calculated at checkout based on the total weight of your order and your delivery address. Estimated costs are displayed before you complete your purchase.
Free Shipping: We periodically offer free standard shipping on qualifying orders. Check our homepage or subscribe to our newsletter to be notified of current promotions. Free shipping is applied automatically at checkout when your order meets the qualifying threshold.
4. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and U.S. Territories
We ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories. However, shipping rates and transit times for these locations may differ from those listed above. Shipping costs and estimated delivery windows will be displayed at checkout. Overnight and some expedited options may not be available to all territories.
5. International Shipping
We currently offer international shipping to select countries. International shipping rates, estimated delivery times, and available methods will be displayed at checkout based on your destination country. Please note the following for international orders:
- Customs and import duties: International shipments may be subject to customs inspection and import duties, taxes, or fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our shipping fees or product prices.
- Customs delays: Customs clearance processes may cause delays beyond our estimated delivery windows. We have no control over these delays.
- Restricted items: Certain products may be restricted or prohibited in some countries. It is your responsibility to ensure that the items you order are permitted under the laws of your destination country.
- International tracking: Tracking updates may be limited once a package leaves the United States and enters the destination country’s postal system.
6. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your package on the carrier’s website. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving this email for tracking information to become active in the carrier’s system.
You can also track your order by logging into your Bead Shop account and visiting the “My Orders” section. If you did not create an account, use the tracking link in your confirmation email.
7. Delivery Issues
- Incorrect Address: Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order. Bead, Inc. is not responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If you notice an error immediately after placing your order, contact us right away — we will do our best to update the address before shipment, but cannot guarantee changes once an order has entered processing.
- Failed Delivery Attempts: If the carrier is unable to deliver your package (e.g., no one is available to receive it), they will typically leave a notice and attempt redelivery or hold the package at a local facility for pickup. Unclaimed packages that are returned to us will be treated as a return and processed according to our Return & Refund Policy, minus any applicable shipping fees.
- Lost Packages: If your tracking shows no movement for an extended period or your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date. We will open an investigation with the carrier on your behalf. Resolution timelines vary by carrier but typically take 5–10 business days.
- Damaged Packages: If your order arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the packaging and contents immediately and contact us within 5 days of delivery. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
8. Holiday and Peak-Season Shipping
During major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, etc.) and other peak shopping periods, carriers may experience higher than normal volumes, which can result in longer delivery times than our standard estimates. We recommend placing orders well in advance during these periods and selecting expedited shipping if your delivery is time-sensitive. We will do our best to communicate any known delays on our website and via email.
